윈도우 7 SP1 일정에 관해서

별로 중요한건 아니라고 생각하는데 WZT에 올라온 글입니다. 구글 번역을 이용해 러시아어를 영어로 번역 했습니다.

제가 대충 중요한것만 번역해드리자면

1. 올해 9월 말부터 MS는 SP1 작업을 재개했다.
2. 올해 12월 말쯤에 SP1 베타1이 등장할 것으로 보인다. 그리고 새해가 되면 TAP들에게 베타1이 배포될 것이다.
3. 전체적으로 베타 두번 RC 두번이 있을 예정이다.
4. 최종 SP1 릴리스는 2010년 가을로 예정되어 있다. PC 제조사들은 2010년 여름쯤에 SP1 통합본을 제공받을 것이다.


이번 런칭파티 때 누가 SP1 출시시기에 대해 질문을 했고 이석현 부장님은 이에 대해 통상 1년 후에 서비스팩이 나온다 정도로만 답변하셨습니다. 위 글을 보면 얼추 맞는 것 같습니다. 그동안 비공개 핫픽스들이 너무 많이 유출되어서 내년 봄에 바로 SP1이 등장하는 우스꽝스런 사태가 벌어지는게 아니냐는 일각의 우려들이 있었지만, 그래서 SP1 통합본이 나오면 그 후에 정품을 구매하겠다던 분들도 계셨지만, 봄에 나올 일은 없을 것 같습니다. 내년 가을쯤에 SP1 통합본이 나온다고 하니 참고만 하시기 바랍니다.
